This is a pre-recorded message from Mrs. Castleberry at Wendell Middle School with a few important reminders:

October 26, 2009

• Our first quarter ends this Thursday followed by a teacher workday on Friday.  Please check your child’s SPAN account for missing work.  Many of our students owe their teachers assignments that if not made up, will result in a lower grade.  Ask your student if they have turned in all their work for first quarter.  
  Our student council is planning spirit week for this coming week.  We have three home games starting on Monday afternoon when we play our makeup game at EWHS with Wake Forest Rolesville.  Our band will be playing at the game. On Tuesday, our girls volleyball team takes on Zebulon at Wendell Middle.  On Wednesday, our girls soccer team hosts Zebulon at EWHS and our boys travel to Zebulon. 
  Students are encouraged to attend all our home games and will get in free to each home game if they wear their Wendell Middle School PE athletic shirt or shorts. 
  Monday is school colors day, students may wear their Wendell Middle school shirt, or the school colors of blue and green.  Tuesday is dress to impress~ suits, ties, dresses are encouraged.   Wednesday is College/Pro team jersey day.  Represent your favorite team.  Thursday is Wacky Tacky day.  Students may wear mismatched clothes, however the dress code will be enforced.  No bathingsuits or undergarments are allowed on top of clothes.  Students may also wear hats. 
  Tickets for our fall dance which will be held on Friday, November 6 from 6-8pm go on sale this Monday during lunch at the concession stand.  Admission to the dance is $5.00.  this includes a slice of pizza, drink and a dessert,  There will be a live DJ, photo booth and additional refreshments for sale.   The dance is limited to Wendell Middle School Students only and the dress code will be enforced.
