Hi!  My name is Betsy Grigor and I am the School Psychologist at Wendell Middle School.  I also serve Zebulon GT Magnet Elementary School and River Oaks Middle School.

I am originally from Pennsylvania and I received my undergraduate degree from Susquehanna University and my master’s degree from Bucknell University.

School Psychologists work to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.  They collaborate with others to create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment for all students.   Services provided by School Psychologists include: direct intervention with regard to academics, behavior, and emotional well-being, comprehensive assessments, prevention of potential difficulties, and consultation with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

The most important role of a School Psychologist is to serve as an advocate for all children.  If you have any concerns regarding your child, please contact me directly or inform your  student’s School Counselor and we will work together to meet the needs of your child.

Thank you,
Betsy Grigor
School Psychologist, MSed
