Hello!

My name is Tonya Mitchell and I will be the 8th grade Counselor for the 2009-2010 school year!

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Shaw University and my Master’s from North Carolina Central University in School Counseling. I came to Wendell Middle School in March 2008. I am a native of Wendell, NC and currently still live in the area. I encourage all students and parents to utilize the counseling department as they navigate through their middle school years.
