My name is Kelly Lister.  I am Wendell Middle's School Social Worker.  I am originally from Virginia but have been a School Social Worker in this area for 14 years. 

I received my undergraduate degree from James Madison University and my Master’s from Virginia Commonwealth University. 

School Social Workers serve as liaisons between schools and families, serve on the Student Support Team, and work with staff to provide intervention services. 

Such services may include: assisting families with basic needs, assessments, working with child protective services regarding suspected abuse/neglect cases, and helping parents/students be more accountable for school attendance.

  If you have any concerns regarding the welfare of your child, please contact me directly or inform your counselor and she will involve me if the need requires my assistance.

We all want to enhance the growth of productive and responsible children by nurturing their academic, personal, and social experiences.  Please consider me as a part of your team here at Wendell Middle School.
